The Relais Fenicottero Rosa is a cosy, charming Country House immersed in the marvellous Mediterranean scrub of Gallura in northern Sardinia.
It’s a family run business by the Careddu family, which for over 20 years has found its vocation in giving hospitality and taking care of its guests, linking their mission to that of this special area of Sardinia.
The Relais Fenicottero Rosa is located in the heart of Gallura just a short distance from Olbia, the Costa Smeralda Airport and the most beautiful beaches in Northern Sardinia. It is in front of the Island of Tavolara, near the enchanting beaches of Porto Taverna, one of the most beautiful in the area with its white sand, amazingly pristine waters and colours. It has well-equipped bathing facilities such as sun beds and deck chairs with beach umbrellas, pedal boats and rubber dinghies, in one the most picturesque bays in Sardinia in the centre of the Protected Marine Area of Tavolara, Molara and Punta Coda Cavallo.
The gorgeous beaches of Cala Coda Cavallo, Brandinchi, l’Impostu and la Cinta are all in the vicinity; towards Olbia are the beaches of Costa Corallina, Porto Istana, Capo Ceraso, Li Cuncheddi, Le Saline. The hotel’s location is strategic as a departure point for several interesting nature, cultural and archaeological itineraries for Sardinia and the Barbagia. The family is comprised of Emanuela and Rica who take care of the guests from the moment of their arrival to the moment of their departure, making their stay an unforgettable experience, guiding them along the path of the gastronomic flavours of Sardinia thanks to their simple and authentic home-style cuisine. Mauro and Domenico deal with the management and the upkeep of the enchanting, luxuriant garden with native plants of this region, as well as tending to a fantastic vegetable garden which provides the produce for their little cosy restaurant where you can experience authentic flavours of the region.
